The Start Of Something New!

Hi,

Today I went to a dance school to register with my host family.
From September, I will join a hip hop class for teenagers on Fridays!
I love dancing but I can't go to the dance school in Japan because of my hard schedule.hahaha
So I decided to go learn dance seriously in Canada!
I hope I can make good terms with teachers and friends and enjoy dancing.
...I'm sooooooooooo excited about that!(^^#)

Is summer back?!

Hi,

Today I visited Berta, my summer school teacher.
She is so nice to us that she invited us!
I haven't met her for a month so that was nice to meet her again.
There was a table for table tennis in the downstairs in her house.
We really enjoyed playing table tennis!
And also, she has a nice back yard so we talked about our each summer in the back yard.
She always listens us well even though my English is not perfect.
I like her a lot and appreciate her*
I want to visit her again.

She lives by the West Edm. Mall so we went to the mall after we left her house.
Actually, I went there yesterday but I love shopping so I didn't mind*hahaha
I started to buy clothes for Winter in Canada.
I'm sure it will be crazy...I mean super cold!
I will save myself with cute and warm clothes*

Today it was hot and sunny.
I thought like 'is summer back?!'.
Because of the change of weather, I got sick.
I have to care about myself carefully!

Happy Birthday, Richard!

Hi,

Yesterday, August 29th was Richard, my host father's 30th birthday!
He already had the his birthday parth last Saturday so we didn't have a party yesterday.
And, he is sick now so he felt bad....
But, after he came back to home, I gave him a card!
He said 'thank you' to me so I was glad.

he is really nice to me and always supports me a lot.
I really appreciate him and I'm happy I'm staying with him.
I hope he will have a wonderful year*
...and feel better soon!!

My busy weekend

Hi,

This weekend (from last Thursday to last Saturday), I was very busy.

I joined an event at church which is called 'summer arts work shop'.

This is one of big events at church and held by youth (teenagers).

Last Thursday, I started to join practices.

I had to learn some new songs, chillean dance, and hip-hop dance.

It was very fun for me so I didn't suffer at all.

I also practiced all performances with many members of youth last Friday.

There were many members of youth.

I became good friends with Holly.

She is nice and kind to me.

I'm glad we could be good friends*

Finally, we performed all of our performances last Saturday.
We could do all performances successfully and really enjoyed them!

I really apperciate all leaders who led us.

One of our leaders cried in front of us after all, and she said 'thank you so much' to us.

I'm glad we could perform successfully and make her happy(^^#)

After all performances, we had a small party.

We watched our performance's video over eating pizza*

Our performance looked really great!

I think we did good job even though we had only few days to practice them.

I was so happy I could join such a wonderful event and make good memories and friends!

However, as I told, I was super busy.
So I was sick from this Sunday.

Yesterday I had to go to school...that was pretty hard for me...

I was like 'Give me a bed...' 'Can I go home now...?!' hahaha

Now I'm feeling much better! Don't worry!

By the way, I got my new time table yesterday!

I chose music class but I had to give up it because of other classes.

That was pretty sad but I can take my favorite classes so that's OK!

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo excited about school!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure I will be super busy because of classes I chose, but I will do my best and enjoy them*

I will write about my school life here.

Back to school!

Hi,

Today I went to my host school to check my course which I will take from September until I go back to Japan.
I like Canadian school better than Japanese school because I can choose classes I take.
I chose English20 and 30, Reading, Cosmetology, Music, French, Regal studies, and Pottery.
I'm sooooooooooooooo excited about all classes!
But, unfortunately, I have to pay money (not so cheap) for classes.
Cosmetology and Pottery are a little expensive.
In stead of costs, I will get wonderful scores at school! I promise!!

Anyways, I'm so excited about school!
I had lots of fun this summer so I will study harder than ever*

Young Women Activity*

Hi,

Tonight I went to church to join young women activity.
We had a class about hair style.
A woman showed some techniques to us.
She changed some girls' hair amazingly!
I had fun very much!

I will take cosmetology class at school.
I want to learn about make-up, hair style, and nail.
I'm sooooooooooooooo excited about the class*
I'm sure it will be my best class(^^#)

Today I got a package from Japan.
My mom sent me many wonderful stuff for example, clothes, Japanese foods, and so on.
I'm super happy now*
But...because of it....my room is untidy now;;
...I'll clean up!

Cooking Day*

Hi,

Today I woke up at noon...hahaha

I had nothing to do so I cooked my lunch.

My Japanese mom sent my favorite spagetti sauce for me so I ate it.

This spagetti is my best menu so I was happy(^^#)

After that, I tried to make 'ANNIN DOUFU'.

It's a chinese pudding and my favorite sweets.

I had a powder for it so I followed the recipe and made it.

It says we need to put in refrige for about 2hours.

But, still now, it's not done yet...WHAT?!

I'm waiting for a long time............still now!

At supper time, my host family went out so I had to make my supper by myself.

There were some frozen rice so I made 'OMURETSU'!

Actually, I had never made it by myself so that was a little challenging!

But I could make it successfully!

I was genius today!!hahaha

I want to improve my cooking skill more!

usual Sunday

Hi,

Today I went to church with my host family.
I hadn't been there for a long time so I missed my friends.
They were kind and nice to me as always so I was glad*

We have an event on next Saturday.
It's called 'workshop'.
We will perform in front of others.
I signed up but I was in Montana so I couldn't join any practices yet.
My host family says it's fun and I should join so I want to join.
I hope I can join it and have fun with many church friends!

After that, Clint and Danielle who are our church friends came to our house and had supper together.
My host brothers love to play with them so they looked happy tonight.
Of course, I love them too*

*HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2*

Hi,

Yesterday I hung out with my Japanese friends at Megumi's house.

Our purpose was to watch HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2.

As you know, I'm really crazy about HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL so I was soooo excited about it for a long time.

I had nothing to do so I went her house from morning with Mai.

We cooked Udon and ate it for lunch and after that we watched a movie which I bought.

I like Anne Hathaway a lot so I really enjoyed it.

About 2:30p.m., Mari.S and Eri got to Megumi's house.

Eri had never watched HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL so we watched it together.

After that, we cooked curry by ourselves for supper.

We could cook it successfully so I was happy.

From 9:00 p.m., HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 started on TV!

The movie was so exciting and fun for me(^^#)
I really enjoyed it and I became a big fan of HSM again!hahaha

I really had fun yesterday!
I could relax over talking with my friends and cooking.

I want to do that kind of thing again.

Happy Birthday, Merrill*

Hi,

Happy Birthday, Merrill!

Today my host brother Merrill became 5 years old(^^#)

He is always kind to me and very cute.

I hope he will have wonderful 5th year.

From 4:00 p.m., we had the birthday party at our house.

My host mother invited 5 kids for Merrill.

Merrill's girl friend was here, too** Sweet!!

My host mother and father planned lots of fun.

Kids looked happy so I was glad, too.
The most exciting moment was when Merrill opened all presents!

He was very excited about many cool presents.

I gave him a puzzle.

He likes building puzzles these days so I bought it for him.

I'm happy he enjoyed it already.

Canadian people always plan wonderful parties not only for kids but also for adults.
It's not normal in Japan but I like Canadian party styles

I think Japanese people should learn how to plan wonderful parties!!hahaha

In the evening, after all kids went back to their home, we went to a park.
There were many fun activities to do for example, mini golf, kart, batting game, and so on.

Boys enjoyed kids cart and rides for kids.

I tried kart with my host mother.

I haven't tried it for a long time so I really enjoyed it!

But after that, I felt tired....hahaha
I want to go there again!

Vacation in Montana

Hi.

I came back from Montana last Sunday night.

Today I'm going to tell you about my vacation in Montana.

First, we left Edmonton for Calgary on August 2nd.

My host father's family lives in Calgary and it takes so long to drive to Montana so we stayed in Calgary.

I was so tired that I went bed soon.

In the morning on Friday, we left for Montana.

Driving was soooo long but I could watch many DVDs so that was not hard for me.

But I got car sick...actually.

I forgot what time we got to the cabin but we could have supper at cabin.

At cabin, my host father's family was already there.

I was afraid because there was a dog!

I didn't hear that so I was scared a little.

But the dog was nice so I could live safely!hahaha

From now on, I'm going to write about what I did for fun in Montana.
On Saturday, we went river for rafting.

That was my first time so I felt a little nervous before I tried.

But I really enjoyed rafting with my host family and their friends!

We went down the river for about 2 hours.

It was nice and warm so mountain and river were very beautiful*

And also, we often went to a lake with a boat.

The boat is my host father's one, so we could did that anytime.

Unfortunatelly, I got my nettle rash and I had to avoid that so I couldn't go into the lake so many times.

I was shocked about that.

My host family took to the lake a lot for me but I couldn't go into the water.

I felt sorry to them.

I really enjoyed staying at the cabin.

Because that was my first time.
In Japan, only rich people have cabins in mountain or forest so I thought like 'am I rich?!'hahaha

The cabin was totally like a house so I could relax.

But my rash wouldn't heal so I was sad all the time...

Anyways, I really enjoyed and I could make good memories with my host family.
I really appericiate my host family for everything they planned and did for me

And, I could know about Montana better than ever and enjoyed the nature of Montana.

I won't forget this vacation.
